Kitchen/Family Room
After completion of the client’s basement conversion into a kitchen and family room, we were asked to put forward a floor that conveyed the natural beauty of real wood, without being too dark. Barling raw Oiled Oak flooring made the perfect choice for this, as the tailored finish enhances the natural characteristics of Oak, while warming it without darkening the wood. The Oak flooring here leads out to timber decking, seamlessly tying together the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Master Bedroom with open plan bathroom
With an abundance of natural light to this room, the customer wanted a darker, more luxurious space to retreat to. With a stunning timber and copper bath taking centre stage in this room, we wanted to install a floor that would complement the copper tones of the bath without departing too far from the natural appearance of Oak. Whinfell Natural English Oiled Oak, with its soft reddish hues, perfectly married the copper bath with the exposed red brick.
Hallway
In keeping with the period of the property, an elegant black and white Victorian floor tile was selected for the hallway. Using a bespoke design for the border gave the floor a classic yet unique appearance to this town house’s entrance.
